Maya Halliburton is a board-certified family medicine physician from Louisiana and completed her MD at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2017.
She completed a full-spectrum Family Medicine residency at University Hospital and Clinics in Lafayette, LA, in 2020, where she gained a broad exposure to medicine and developed an individualized, patient-centered approach to primary care.
She has since practiced at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Group and Plume Health before joining CrofootMD in 2025. In addition to general primary care, her interests include sexual and reproductive health, primary care gynecology and dermatology, mental health, and gender affirming care.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, watching old movies, learning jazz standards on the piano, and reading outdoors on balmy days in Houston.
